Life-changing. Eye-opening. A once-in-a-lifetime chance.

These are phrases students use to describe their study abroad experiences. The Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (OVPDEI) strives to provide greater access to study abroad opportunities so that you can explore new cultures, gain insight about the global community, and make memories that last a lifetime.

Here you can learn about the study abroad programs and scholarship opportunities available to OVPDEI students and gain insight into what you can expect when you study abroad.

The mission of OVPDEI OSSP is to:

  • promote IU study abroad opportunities among students in OVPDEI programs
  • educate and guide students in study abroad funding opportunities
  • share resources and help students navigate through different aspects of study abroad

I am extremely grateful for my experience as it has opened my eyes to a different perspective on culture, gave me insight to my future career, and helped me identify who I truly am.
